I often hear this phrase during Christmas, "Pabayaan mo na lang, Christmas naman! (Let it be, it's Christmas!), usually to remind somebody not to be bothered anymore by some people's crooked ways or harsh words. And then what? After Christmas, you must be bothered by these people and give them what they truly deserve?
It's funny. People use Christmas as an excuse - offenders and offended alike. Like I had always mentioned before, I am not the type of person who keeps silent when something is wrong. I always believe that I show people that I care or love if I let them know that what they're doing or saying or thinking is wrong. Some people believe otherwise, they believe that they show love when they let things pass, or let go of such incidences, or be silent while they are hurting. In my case, when I keep silent and when I do not look at somebody anymore or talk to them anymore, that is the point that I do not give a damn anymore. We all become saturated at one point.
In a time like Christmas, I believe that honesty is still the best policy. I am not 100% honest, but most of the time, I try to be truthful especially to myself.
And because time is still not enough (Translation: 24 hours a day is not enough), I would like to take this opportune time to greet everybody a
Merry Christmas and
a Happy New Year!!!
