Do you often pick your nose in public?
This afternoon, on my way home, at the overpass, I saw this vendor in the act of slipping his hand inside his shorts. His behind must be itchy, or he liked the feel of sliding his hand down his rear. Which reminds me one time when Papsie was also in the same act and I remember telling him, “Papsie, you’re in public!” How he laughed, and replied, “Caught in the act!”
But I wonder how many of the bloggers in Bloglandia are guilty of these unseemly pleasures done in public – picking the nose, scratching the behind, 'shifting the gears', picking leftovers between the teeth, and many other ‘inappropriate’ acts we may be aware or unaware of doing.
Tell me, is the word unethical applicable?
I do the silent-but-deadly deed in crowded places and watch the reactions. =)
ReplyDeleteha ha ha you do that?? i can just imagine how some eyes grow big!
ReplyDeleteOh I do all that... in private. But sometimes I slip, my bad. :-)
ReplyDeletemaybe another case of forgetfulness he he
ReplyDeleteI do the "shifting the gears" a lot. I tend to do it more often after I get of my bike on a long haul. Na-iipit kasi sa sikip ng riding outfit minsan katapos na-mimitig pa siya! I saw a hot looking girl picking her nose while driving and me on my bike alongside her. I glanced at her and with my left hand pulled out a plastic Mcdonalds spoon from my jacket pocket and waved it at her. She gave me the middle finger and gunned her car engine to pass me:-)
ReplyDeletepati yun, namimitig, noypetes???
ReplyDeletenaughty ka talaga. obviously the girl was outraged she was caught in the act.
I had an officemate who picked his nose while we were eating at the cafeteria. Gross :( Good I was almost finished eating. I left to get a cup of coffee and did not return. Never expected him to be a slob - Pinoy pa man din:(
ReplyDeleteI have not that many instances but to be sure, I have done that once or twice before, when many are looking.
ReplyDeleteThe most memorable of which is that one time, it was so late already in the afternoon and I was driving seemingly all day long. Because I was so tired already, I must have become oblivious of my conduct that while I was driving I picked my nose (excuse me for that please) and a couple of lady passengers of a jeepney in front of me, while in a traffic jam, stared so hard at me and I first wondered what I was doing wrong. It came to so slowly and felt so embarrased.
parang salawikain yan Bing, pag "makati" -" kamutin" ........no deep meaning just simple translation, hehehehe
ReplyDeleteNot really a big deal to me...
ReplyDeleteEverytime I am attending a post op patient, I always ask her... "Maam nautot na ba kayo?" lalo na yung nacesarean...
that's really gross, bw. mawawalan din ako ng gana.
ReplyDeleteha ha that's what you call innocently picking the nose, major tom.
what an adage, techguy. :-D
if somebody farts, the culprit can go unnoticed. mahirap ituro ang pinanggalingan, mon, e. when you pick your nose in public, kitang-kita ka.
Hi Bingskee...
ReplyDeleteBloghopped from Toe's site :) I hope you don't mind if I link you.
There are days when I can already feel that there is a nagging stuff inside my nose so no choice but to get rid of it but I of course use a tissue to cover my act but more often than not I go to the restroom to do the deed hehe
I think it's really a major TO to see a guy scratching his rear in public hehe goes the same for a guy who's picking his nose.
I am a offender! ;-)
ReplyDeleteoh, verns, link away! thank you for the link. :-D
ReplyDeletevery uncomfortable indeed to feel that there is something inside the nose. sometimes we are unaware though that we're actually picking our nose na in public because of that feeling.
hay, naku, kaka-TO talaga pag nakakakita ako nang ganoon. lalo na ang mga nag-shi-shift ng gears ha ha
ha ha really, sidney?? i think everybody naman was at some point guilty. he he
ReplyDeleteOkay..great! Actually di ko na inantay ang "oo" mo hihihihi
ReplyDeleteAnyway di pa ako nakakita ng nagshi-shift gear lolz pero yes....TO din yun :)
bloghopped from toe as well...sinusundan ba kita Verns?
ReplyDeletehave you ever have to pick on your behind to unstuck the panty between the cheeks.?
or to fix the bra strap falling off the shoulders?
guilty on both but I make sure no one is looking when I do it.
omg, this is should have been part of my secrets revealed.

No, we ask our newly operated patients if they have already farted to know if their digestive tract is already functioning.
