Politician's Opportune Time

Fiestas and other celebrations and occassions are politicians' favorite. Who would think that Ara Mina will grace our barangay's fiesta on May 1?

Before that a bunch of kids danced for money - a poor version of the Ati-atihan.

Would you want an Afro hair or a 6'1" height?

It was a tiring day but it was worth it.

Good that my kids enjoyed!

  1. Funny, and at the same time... irritating, that during the election period, these politicians seem to be visible. They're everywhere. And then disappear altogether after they get voted into office...

  2. cool? ang alin, kyels ang presence ni Ara Mina he he? :-D

true, single. actually, i was observing yesterday. and i dont even know how the actress can manage to smile in the midst of the crowd, where some people had become unruly. i wonder what she and her father think of all the hullabaloo.

  7. Well, it looks like everyone had a good time! Ah, politicians come alive these days when election is approaching. Pag may pera, tanggapin pero wag iboto. :)

  9. They're only visible whenever it's election period. I don't know if it's good or bad --- good that at least for a while, our ordinary fellowmen enjoy themselves even for a short time (and sometimes even receiving some things from the politicians and celebrities); bad that after the elections, they're again nowhere to be found.

Pero eniwey, pista naman. Pagbigyan! Basta ang importante may kasiyahan! ;)

  10. hi, shari. it is nice to read that there are still individuals who see the good things from what most people perceive as bad.

  18. I presume since your fiesta falls on May 1, your patron saint is Sr. San Jose? It's Tagbilaran City's fiesta too, my wife's home city.
