An open letter to those who visit and take time to comment.
To you,
You. Yes, you. Do you know how much your comment (s) mean to me? A whole lot.
Your comment (s) speak so much about you. They tell how smart you are. They can also tell how sometimes you are mean. They tell if you're happy or not. They tell if you agree or disagree. Your comment(s) really speak about you - how you think, react, or say your piece.
It doesn't bother me the least if you share a thought not conforming to mine. After all, what is freedom of expression if not exercised? In a way, I learn. I learn so much from the comment(s) that you give. I am in awe that there are bloggers who are interested in what I write, and what I write is not enough because of your comments that augment the matter that I share. What a way to learn. What a way to discover that I do not own the vast ideas that I compose.
Do you know how much I admire your prowess in expressing your ideas cleverly and wittingly? I even have a crush on you. :-D Don't get me wrong. It's about how I admire the revelation of your thoughts. Not the usual romantic admiration. It is admiration for your talent. Comment-writing is also a skill, you know. And it requires boldness, too.
Picture me giggling, smiling, pouting, shedding a tear, or creasing my brows. It's what your comment(s) do to me. They inspire, hurt, yearn, anger me. And what a feeling I tell you.

Pasensiya ka na Bing at di ako masyadong marunong mag-inglis kaya tagalog ang sagot ko. Maganda sana kung ma-iipahiwatig ko ang taos pusong pasasalamt sa iyo sa mga isinulat mo dito na nakapagbigay aral sa mga mambabasa mo sa inglis para maintindihan din ng mga "porendiyers" at saka duon sa mga nag-kukunwaring di marunong o maka-intindi ng salitang Pilipino. Susubukan ko rin mag-inglis, o heto na: "Haw ar yu der ober der en da Maynila?; Ay am gruwing ap en da esteyts en so ay du nat ispik da langweyds op da Pilipinos! ReplyDeleteBinuksan mo ang laman ng loob mo sa karamihan ng mga sulatin mo, binigyan buhay mo rin ang mga kasiyahan at lungkot sa paligid mo sa papamagitan ng pagsulat at siya naman naming sinagot. May nagbigay ng payo, may nakiramay, at marami rin ang sumangayon. Pero ang higit sa lahat ay ang dami ng kaibigan na hikayat mo sa pagiging tapat mo sa iyong mga sulatin.
