If truly there is a fairy godmother, (What fun it is to see one!) who would grant me a wish, one of my wishes for this Christmas season is a getaway to Hawaii, particularly in Kauai. Out of the ordinary? True. I just feel like being alone and while the world frolic, I wanted to experience the season alone, visit one of those vacation rentals offered by Kauai vacation rentals, fill myself with the cool breeze of the beaches, while I ponder about life. Surely it would be a very quiet and peaceful Christmas. I won’t be bothered by thoughts if people will like my gifts. :-D Also, I would momentarily be absorbed by the great beauty of the islands and forget about woes.
But there ain’t no fairy godmother. Nor enough funds for a getaway! Poor me. I’ll just stare at the pictures of the beautiful Kauai as I visit the site. And if you have enough money and wanted to experience being alone, as in truly alone in this season of merry-making, pack in and soar away to the beautiful islands. But check first Kauai Travel Blog to plan the getaway very well and see the What to Do in Kauai list before you soar away.
solitude is bliss sometimes but I still prefer to spend Christmas with the family :)
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I'd like to be in the Philippines for Christmas; because of the spirit and euphoria. Can't feel that here.
ReplyDelete:P
If things don't work out for Hawaii, you can always go to Siargao or in one of those hundred Islands. :)
ReplyDeleteThe philippines already offers what Hawai’i can offer: beach, surf, sun. And at a much cheaper price. :)
ReplyDeleteagree very much, verns. but sometimes, too, trying the out of the ordinary is worth the while. :-)
ReplyDeletea friend who had just migrated to NZ, kyels tells the same.
'nga no? ni hindi ko pa nga pala naiikot ang buong Pinas, rey!
too ka dyan, wil. at a much cheaper price. thanks for the tag. will try to squeeze in time. :-)
I didn't get enough when I was there. Hawaii for me anytime ! :)
ReplyDeleteI could also use a getaway. If I only have the moolah. :) But, like verns, I would also bring the family. Not extended family ha. :)
ReplyDeleteIf I had a fairy godmother I'll ask for a billion dollars. That'll buy me enough vacation to last ten lifetimes... ;-)
ReplyDeleteyou know, bw. even though i'm scared of tidal waves and such, i always see Hawaii as beautiful. it is an epitomy of peace and quiet. good for you to have experienced at least once. :-)
ReplyDeletegoing to a vacation kasama ang extended family is not a good idea. if one is rich, irene, pwede siguro. :-) ang gastos lang and they will be very willing to go, am sure.
ha ha ha oo nga, 'no, single? why did'nt i think of that?? with billion dollars, we can have our vacation anytime anywhere.
