Hmmm... I would prefer that money for the company party will be included in the bonus. Yea. I am not so much of a party person though I love to be with friends to go places, and eat, drink and be merry. But with the whole bunch of people in the company? I don't know. I don't think I will enjoy the party that much.
And one problem, too, is if one of the bosses (who stinks) will ask you to dance. Gosh, I wouldn't know how to deal with such a predicament. And another problem is if there would be no one who would want to dance with you. :-D

I guess some people would prefer a party with their colleagues and some just want to have the money for keepsake. Well, I'd rather have it as a bonus too.

hmmm depends actually. When I was still with a big company we wished pinera na lang hehe but now that I'm with a smaller company mas masaya pa rin yung party...at least you can really mingle with everybody =)

ReplyDeleteI don't think the party money if included in the bonus would be significant enough to be noticed... Anyway, it's good to be working these days of the year especially if the reward that awaits more than compensate for all the hard work the whole year through. :)

ReplyDeletehi, rey! some companies do have significant amount or budget for their parties. but most companies here in the Philippines, as you've said, give insignificant (aka negligible) amount for parties. :-D
When I was still single I am a party goer myself ! Just plain fun, I don't drink neither smoking ! Kahit minsan nangangalumata na pumapasok pa rin sa Hotel (shifting hours kasi). Talking about dysmenorrhea problem, I suffered from that...malala ! Good excuse yan ;) . Wow bonus , yan ang na miss ko tagal ko na rin hindi nakakatikim :( !
