Shape Me

It makes you wonder, while oogling at a magazine with a shapely girl as the cover, if it could be possible to have a body like that – shapely, sculpted, and almost perfect (this is actually subjective).

Plastic surgery procedures like abdominoplasty, liposuction, facelift, eyelid surgery, browlift, nose reshaping, breast lift and breast augmentation are some of those highly sought by the vain and beautiful. With these procedures is the liposculpture which is a surgery that could give a woman the body she desires. If there is one surgical clinic here in the Philippines that gives one Beverly Hills liposuction then she must look like a goddess. These surgeries would surely make a 'new you'.

And if these procedures are not against my beliefs I might be one of those women and girls lining up these clinics. Who knows I could be bumping with one of the celebs.

  1. Having an hour glass figure is amazing, definitely but when people decide to go through hell by starving themselves, that's really a big no-no. Well, it sure does give an impact to people being curvy and all that jazz, but I still feel that whatever we've been given we should appreciate it and yes, we definitely can work our way for those curves but with the right way.

    :D

  2. as long as it's not life threatening and you can afford it then I say go for it. this of course presupposes that you have a high tolerance for pain. ouch.

  4. As the cliche goes, beauty is only skin deep. :)

  5. I would love to change some features so I can enhance my beauty (lol) but I am too scared to go under the knife.

    btw, I tagged you.

  7. wow, that's a very nice opinion, kyels. but doing it the right way is subjective. some people think that starving and going under the knife is right. :-) this does not mean i agree.

agree, fencesitter. one has to have a high pain threshold. when the anaesthesia wears out, they would realize that it's painful to be vain ha ha

i am glad you are content of what you have, khonz.

beauty is skin deep. if only it would be that easy to instill those lines for the vain and beautiful and rich, wil. :-D

leah, thanks for the tag. will go visit your site and do the tag if time allows. :-)

and thinking about the whole process, baby pink & leah, makes me cringe.

  8. another cliche would be: beauty is in the eye of the beholder... so to me beauty is very subjective- you may have the prettiest face in the world but if you don't have a heart- you're ugly as hell to me!! i know, i know- beauty MAY take you to unexpected places- fame and fortune, etc. but all that will fade. No plastic surgery can help you in your old age.

I also believe that going under the knife is a personal choice and a personal issue. we can't judge another for doing so. if she/he has the money for it and doesn't mind the pain and risk (that you could die or something goes wrong!!)- then go ahead. Personally, despite all my physical deficiency and insecurities-and even if say, I could afford it-- I just won't go under the knife! It's also against my beliefs... :-)

(on a different note, bingsky! is it really easy to move from blogger to WP?!! let me know please...i wanna move! where did you buy your domain and hosting? :-) )

  10. Pretty scary stuff when you see a face lift operation on TV ! The finished product looks good but you have to go to some serious stress to achieve it

I am surprised at the audacity of those who do it many times, esp the older celebs. Sometimes I think vanity is more important than their health - I guess :(

  11. Did you know that in the middle ages, up until the 19th century, plump women were more desirable than thin women? Just check out the old paintings of the masters... ;-)

  12. I like what Snglguy said! :)

It'll take an elephant to drag me to one of these clinics for a lipo. E, dentista lang tako na ako, yun pa kayang cosmetic surgery? Besides, I don't want to end up like Kanye West's mom. :P

  13. hi, mae! what a nice insight for a young lady like you. physical beauty does not last. when one is older, and when one dies, it is the beauty of the heart that is remembered more than the physical beauty.

it is very easy to move from blogger to wordpress only that one cannot change the layout or do something about the layout. bought it from WP and discovered not the best decision. there are free hosting and domain sites available. it was too late to discover that. :-)

he he meron na ring surgery para lumaki, mon he he

i saw that in tv, too, bw. and i was really scared i wasnt able to look at it and switched the channel.

that made me wonder nga, single.

ha ha takot ka sa dentista, bugsy? you remind me of someone. :-)

  14. This really depend on the person/ woman. If she thinks she really need to go through the needle/scalpel to make her feel better about herself, I will advice her to go with it. But i admire women who are more confident of what they have and how they look and flaunt it with grace and flair. It's cliche but I still believe beauty emanates from within. There are countless beautiful women in terms of aesthetic equation but not as attractive as those with inner glare.

  15. I wish my tummy and waistline is a little bit smaller. I wish my nose is a little bit like Anne Hathaway's. I wish I got the legs of Cameron Diaz. I wish I got Catherine Zeta-JOnes' hair....

just wishing here because these people are soo pretty but I don't want to go through any surgery to have what they have. Aside from the fact that I don't have the resources, I'm afraid of the consequences. But I'm not against Cosmetic Surgeries...if people want to do it because they believe it will improve the quality of their life, then who can really question that, right?

  16. I don't mind going under the knife. I have considered liposuction and tummy tuck already. I was a slim girl who got obese so I know how it feels to be fat. It sucks!

  17. well, inner beauty really counts, rey, but there are also a lot of 'heavy built' women who are insecure of how they look like. it is true that women who can carry themselves with flair despite the lack or the excess are admirable. takes a lot of guts, too. :-D

i wish my tummy and waistline were the same as when i was still single, verns. i have a 23 waistline noon ha ha those were the days. and true, nobody should question anyone who wants to undergo surgery for the sake of self-improvement. kung may K ba, e. :-D

hi, tani. first, i want to tell you that you have an interesting blog. hope you will continue posting.
it's nice to hear from someone who had tried these procedures. i admire the bravado. :-)
