When you can have ten of it in the price of one.
I remember my father-in-law’s principle in buying things. He would prefer buying ten cheap slippers than buying only one with the price of ten slippers. Even if you insist that the expensive slipper is sturdier than the cheaper ones, he would still prefer the cheap slippers. He will always say that when the expensive ones wear out, the cheaper ones still are not deformed because there is variety.
This trait was inherited by Papsie. Sunglasses are one of his favorites and he would prefer replica pieces than buying high-priced Oakleys. If he is a businessman, the idea of Wholesale Sunglasses would be attractive.
Replica sunglasses are attractive buys in the Philippines. Who would bother to ask if it is an Oakley or a Ray Ban? It is not that big a deal to most Filipinos. Why, they can still look good with these replica sunglasses. :-D Pair it with another set of replica accessories then presto, the get up is complete.
Bing,
I now buy fake shades for practicality because I always lose sunglasses. I've lost four signature shades already. Hay.
ReplyDeletepracticality is the needed word for today because of crisis...

Hey guy does anyone here want to exchange link with me... I am promoting my only and new website.. Its http://www.talk2discuss.com and from there you can find some interesting pictures and post too.
I hate buying for myself. Merry Christmnas Bing.
ReplyDeleteI buy replicas too. :) Kaya lang yung sunglasses ko... I have only one... college pa ko so it must be 17 years old now... baduy... ray-ban pa but I still use it everyday. :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Bingskee! :)
As long as it serves its purpose, why not di ba? Since almost every branded item/product has a clone these days anyway. Sana nga may replica cars din ano? Eh di siguro everyday iba-iba ang ginagamit natin, hehe. :-D
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and your family, Bing. :-)
I dont mind wearing copy cats. Basta ok ang itsura at di mukhang cheap.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
I have friends who are 'rich' - and by that I mean people who don't need to draw on salary anymore to get by. They all are unbashful about buying 'fakes'. But there are friends I know who probably could do with a bit of savings but insists on buying the real macoy.
ReplyDeleteWhat is common trait I see with my successful friends is that they are prudent and practical, perhaps much like your father-in-law. Siguro madatung and byenan mo ano? :-)
I am not into branded when I shop...i go for praticality :D !!! But I do buy branded stuffs from time to time, especially if I really like the model ! Smart buying di ba !
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Bingskee to you and to the whole family ! I am sure that Christmas back home is always a blast !
ha ha natawa naman ako dun, noypete. merry christmas din sa yo at sa iyong pamilya. :-D
ReplyDeletesi nico, bumibili ng fake shades? hard to believe, a...
same here, leah.
tatay is really prudent and practical though he is not 'rich' as to the true sense of the word, rommel. di rin naman siya mahirap. he had acquired his property thru hard labor.
i think it really depends of the character of the person. there are rich and poor people who have become rich and yet stayed humble.
i buy branded clothes, too, haze. but ang Papsie ko, di mo mapapabili. merry christmas!
i don't have problems with buying replica things, especially if they're class A, but i must say that the authentic ones are a loooot sturdier so it's usually worth your money. oh, but, it doesn't matter really, does it? at the end of the day, you ask yourself if your buy made you happy. whether you bought something authentic/branded or you bought a replica, it's all the same. ang importante, your buy made you happy.:)
ReplyDeletethat's very nice, baby pink. you have given one aspect of buying - and that is that your buy should make you happy. oo nga naman...
