Mesothelioma - a cancer

Are you familiar about asbestos? What is asbestos, by the way?

Asbestos is a naturally occurring silicate mineral with long, thin fibrous crystals. - Wikipedia, Asbestos
Asbestos is a highly-fibrous mineral with long, thin, separable fibers. The thin fibers can be spun and woven together, and possess valuable heat-resistant properties that make asbestos suitable for insulation and other such products. Indeed, for decades, asbestos was the material of choice for many industries that were manufacturing products for which heat resistance, low electrical conductivity, flexibility, and high tensile strength were essential factors. - What is Asbestos?
But why am I discussing asbestos? It is because damaged (not intact) asbestos causes mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is a disease which only known cause is asbestos. A person who is more exposed to fibers of asbestos which is airborne is more likely a candidate to having a cancer like this.

This reminds me of a manufacturing company that uses asbestos roofing. The workers are very much concerned about the ill-effects of the flying particles.
