I do not have a new car. But our car is newly painted and had undergone body repair and was painted ice blue. It looks like a newly purchased car during the 90s. Smooth to the brim. Shiny new.
We were thinking of buying a few car accessories that will replace the old ones. We were also thinking of having the radiator overhauled. Papsie thinks it can be the reason why the car overheats at times.

I am so happy that the car is back. Life is hard without the car even if it's not a Benz. The other day I got sick because I went to the grocery store forgetting that the car is in the repair shop. I bought four kilos of assorted wet products. It was too late to realize that the bag is heavy while the other grocery bag with the dry items is lighter but not really that light. I forgot I am not feeling well but remembered that I had to buy them to maximize my visit to the mall. My original plan was only to pay the bills.
I am just so happy for the car to come back home. :D

Despite the high gasoline and maintenance costs, you'd appreciate owning a vehicle if you have several errands to run in a day or you have to catch an important appointment during peak hours when empty cabs are rare. Take care of your newly painted car! It's a "treasure."
ReplyDeleteCar for us is not a luxury. We lived in a subdivision where its difficult to get a ride home after 9pm. So its really a necessity to own one, brand new or not.
ReplyDeleteI live in NYC served 24/7 by a subway system so car isn't a necessity for me. In fact, I save more by not having to pay exorbitant insurance premiums, garage fees, tolls and of course gasoline.Your car certainly will serve its purpose. Drive safely. :)
ReplyDeleteactually nga, nico, para kang nagpapaaral kapag me sasakyan ka. but the comfort and convenience of having one is irreplaceable.i think with the current situation, a car is mostly a necessity in the metropolis, blogusvox.hmmm.. and i thought in such a busy city as NYC, a car is a necessity. depende nga siguro sa lokasyon, NP.
ReplyDeleteHere in Switzerland, we use public transportation more since the Swiss transport system is very reliable naman. Saka wala naman maraming chancingero, hold-up guys, and yes, pollution.We only use the car when we are going to the supermarket and buy lots of grocery items.Good your family car has been repaired na. It can be a hassle to commute in Pinas din.
