Ma, may nambastos skin. Wala namang ngyari skin. Nakuha ko ung plate number. Nireklamo na namin sa pulis.
Though there was those assuring words "Wala namang ngyari skin. (meaning Wala namang nangyari sa akin.) ", I was panic-stricken. I called her up immediately.
It turned out that there was a car parked near Fine Arts Building. The man in the car asked her where Palma Hall is. Kay obligingly answered tne thirthish looking man (He was doing something inside the car in which Kay was unmindful of but noticed that there was an activity. She vaguely remembered that the man was like removing his belt.) After a while she sensed that the man wanted to bring her to her destination which she politely declined because the FA building was nearby. When she was about to leave, the 'decent' looking man stopped her and told her, "Sandali, tingnan mo 'to." To her surprise, the man's fly was open! She immediately left but jotted down the car's plate number. When the guard went to where the car is, it was nowhere to be found.
My daughter sounded ok when I talked to her. Thank God that sicko didn't go down from his car. It would be disadvantageous for her if that would be so. He could easily drag her inside the car if she got afraid or weakened with fright. She told me she did not think that the man will do such a thing because "mukha siyang matino", and added that "he has that good look in the face". As Papsie puts it, we can never be too trusting, looks can be deceiving.
I was so worried and angry at the same time I wanted to be like Jean Gray, or Storm. Or Darna. She also has that ability to fly fast to catch those contemptible a**holes, and give them lessons they wouldn't forget.
Do you believe in Friday the 13th? I am not a believer of this myth. But it sure was not a good day for the whole family, especially to Kay.
such a freak! it's always good to have a companion esp. in secluded areas. i'm glad that your daughter is safe.
ReplyDeleteOh gross! But your daughter was smart. She was cool and did the right thing by reporting the incident to the police. It seems that you have a mature and trustworthy kid Bingskee.
ReplyDeletescary! it's a good thing your daughter didn't panic, just left and reported it... hope that guy will get caught one of these days.
ReplyDeletethat's what i have been telling her, evi. palagi na siyang me kasama ngayon. but who would expect din naman that a sicko would be lurking that early?
ReplyDeletei am really thankful she didnt lost her wits and remained calm, toe. but seeing someone walking towards you with a fly open is a totally different thing din. i was really so thankful.
hay, naku, stranger, how i wish! that guy is roaming the campus. she learned that a friend met that man and asked her to go with him, pinasasakay siyang pilit. he has the same description.
Maybe a pair of shears could be helpful in this case! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThese wolves can be deceiving. I'm glad Kay is sensible enough to take down the plate number and immediately report the incident to the police. How about arming Kay with a mace? I think you can get one at Handyman.
ReplyDeleteIngat kamo sya lagi. The world never runs out of mentally-deranged people.
ReplyDeletesidney, she brings her cutter along.
ReplyDeletewe're planning to buy her a stunner, bugs.
thanks, doc emer. very true, the world never runs out of those creeps.
did you file a complaint tita?
ReplyDeleteglad that kay is alright.
she had filed a complaint the day the incident happened, jaleesa
ReplyDeleteoh my, poor kay! good thing she had the presence of mind to get out of there quick, but not before jotting down the plates.
ReplyDeletesana mahuli itong manyakis na ito! ingat palagi..
im glad ur daughter is okay. She did well with getting the number plate and getting out of there safely.
ReplyDeletebut yeah.. what a sicko.
This world will never run out of perverts. The are stories about exhibitionists showing their perversion even inside passenger buses!
ReplyDeleteThe best thing to do is to ignore the person and walk away. These perverts will never chase you and shout look at me ! Attention is what they beg for, what turns them on. When they don't get it, they're frustrated.
Freaks are everywhere these days. And schools are their favorite haunts.
ReplyDeleteTrue. Looks can be deceiving talaga. Decent looking nga pero di matino ang isip. Good, nothing happened to her. Flasher in the campus huh?
ReplyDeletehi, rhada! i am very thankful talaga. sana nga mahuli ang lokong yun!
ReplyDeleteyea, will, what a sicko..
there are those who do their thing inside cinema houses, too, bw. i also told my daughter about that. but seems that he was not an exhibitionist only but someone who lurks in the campus looking for preys he can force to go with him.
bakit nga kaya school ang fave nila, single?
a flasher who's not only sick but dangerous, too, ipanema.
dapat pinakita nya yung fingers nya tapos nagpretend na gunting yun... or if ever may gunting sya inilabas nya yun... ganun daw yung gagawin namin pag nasa mental hospital na kami nakaduty sa mga exhibitioists.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sicko that guy was. I can't believe there's some people existing like that guy. Dapat ipahuli yun bago makagawa pa ng mas grabeng pambabastos.
ReplyDeletenatatakot na tuloy ako para kay Aya lalo na at bata siya tapos wala pa ako sa tabi niya :(
ReplyDeleterisky naman yun, mon, i think it will work for those with extreme mental illness.
ReplyDeletedapat ang school me serious action against these guys, major tom.
equip her with presence of mind, melai. at tiwala sa sarili at sa Diyos.
Your daughter did the right thing. Thank God she's safe. Ingat lang palagi.
ReplyDelete17 or 16 lang yung daughter mo di ba? hmmm...
ReplyDeletefine arts ba yung course nya? dont worry she'll survive.. my sister did.
thanks, lazarus, she's extra cautious now.
ReplyDeleteyes, she's 16, mon, why do you ask? no doubt about the survival. forte nya ang arts. thanks anyway.
gago yon ah!
ReplyDeletemore than gago, anp..
ReplyDeletehay naku . . . is there any more place where such incidents happen? Here in the US that would be about right. But back home in the Philippines? Hmm. . . thats unheard of . . at least for me. Anyway. Such men needs to be castrated.
ReplyDeletegrabe! pervert, preying on college students! letse talaga yan. sana ma-karma ang lokong yan. and to think, this happened inside UP. i'm now thankful that at least me and my gf graduated before anything like that happened to her.
ReplyDeleteperverts abound. they should be exterminated.
ReplyDeletepost the platenumber.
it's becoming common na dito, jo. 'lam mo naman ang mga pinoy, galing manggaya, pati yung mga ganung klase ginagaya. :-)
ReplyDeletehe's really a pervert, corsi. sana mahuli na.
that would be a nice idea, beatburn.
Such deranged people enjoy the look of shock when the victim is caught by surprise. In maintaining her cool, your daughter probably gave him less "pleasure" than he had hoped for. Seriously, such people should be kept in asylums before their condition develop into another more dangerous one.
ReplyDeleteSomeone should alert the neighborhood to the number plate and the man's description. I hope the police will do this before others become his next victims. Who knows? He may just end up being violent one day.
also read that info, bayi, about exhibitionists. that is what i am afraid of - to what extent will they do harm instead of just horrifying their prey?
ReplyDeletei asked my daughter the progress, and it seems there is no action like posting the plate number. i think he is dangerous, bayi. one of my daughter's classmate was like being forced to board his car. the sicko has been frequenting the campus for a time.
Sexual predators are deceiving in personality and looks. I admire your daughter's courage and smart response. Arm her with a lethal concoction of potent mixture of siling labuyo dissolved in water and vinegar. Put in a plastic sprayer bottle. Next time a sick predator comes up to her with his thing exposed, tell her to give it a couple of spray with the hot concoction and a spray on the face as well... and then run as fast away from the predator as she can to watch him do the "maggot squirmwithwith pain dance" from a distance.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha you made me laugh! really! very nice idea indeed. though funny, i think it'll work but dont you think it will anger the psychotic more and haunt naman my daughter, pete?
ReplyDeleteup to now am kind of imagining the 'maggotsquirmwithpaindance'. i love the way you think ha ha
hmm this reminds me of a post i read some time ago about a girl jogging in UP. A man in a car came up to her and asked for directions. After the girl replied, the guy suddenly grabbed her breast.
ReplyDeleteperhaps you should go to the media with the license plate number to give this thing more public attention. who knows if the guy stops at just showing his privates. i wouldn't be surprised if the guy would kidnap/rape other less unfortunate girls...
di kaya yun din ang taong iyon, cyber?
ReplyDeletewill ask for the opinion of a media relative... that's a nice suggestion, thank you.
the same thing also happened to me in UP. the guy was in a car, and he was asking for directions. and nakita ko talaga yung toot nya. ang bastos talaga.
ReplyDeleteso, there really is a monster roaming the premises. wonder how the administration deals with complaints regarding this. i am sure naman na hindi lamang anak ko ang complainant. what did you do afterwards, little light?
ReplyDelete
