It took my interest to join the craze of monetizing my blog. (The thought has been lagging for sometime now.) I know some bloggers do not go for this kind of activity but it's my blog anyway. It is kinda exciting to earn thru blogging when all you have to do is to participate and link away.
Feminism
I can only advocate some of the concerns of feminists. Some of them are:
- a woman's right of contract or property
- a woman's right to bodily integrity and autonomy (except abortion)
- protection from domestic violence ('a woman should be loved and not be treated like a punching bag')
- protection against sexual harassment and rape (one of the biggest crimes that traumatize women and girls alike)
- protection for workplace rights and equal pay (inequalities and discriminations still abound in some workplaces)
You can see my (and others) answers when you click the banner above. By clicking, you can also decide to join and participate in the survey. It's as easy as that. :-)
Blogsvertise
A post from techie girl's moneymakers page about Blogsvertise is a very clear narrative about how the process works. It explains how to obtain a great opportunity and earn extra cash. And since some of the several options are still experimental, one can try the blog entries option where you write about the topic assigned to you in two (2) to three (3) paragraphs with three (3) text links to the advertiser's page in your post.
My membership in Blogsvertise is yet to be approved. Of course I would want that my blog be approved. It would be another interesting dimension in blogging to earn extra cash, and to assist in the promotion of ads in one way or another. But it would be more interesting still to blog about topics of interest and I hope Blogsvertise would assign tasks that I could blog about with enthusiasm and curiosity. What could be more engaging than to blog about things that one loves to blog about. :-D So, here's a toast to my new endeavor. Cheers!
I agree with your feminist views including on abortion (equal rights should be extended to the unborn woman)
ReplyDeletethe difference is that I believe an abused woman has the right to get back at her male abusers... by ANY means necessary.
for me, getting back at (a) male abuser(s) must be done with careful contemplation and in legal ways. i do not encourage to stain a woman's hand with the blood of a mongrel. but it has to be something those abusers should never forget.
ReplyDeleteI wish you all the best in this new blog endeavor, Bing!
ReplyDeleteHow do we help you monetize your blog? Do we have to click on the dNeero banners? Sorry for the ignorance.
thank you, jayred!
ReplyDeleteyes, the more clicks the more impressions i'll get. it has to have qualifying 5 to 10 days in order to get paid. :-)
Thanks, Bing, for letting me know. I'll start clicking now. :) May the Jedi force be with you. LOL.
ReplyDeleteh, jayred! thank you for your support. but unfortunately my blog account at blogsvertise was rejected because of the info i received from them that they do not accept wordpress blogs anymore because wordpress deletes them for paid contents and ads in their posts.
ReplyDeletei went to the FAQ section of wordpress and at a section (not the FAQ), i read this statement as answer to someone who was asking if she can sell puppies thru her blog:
You cannot commercialize a blog at wordpress.com. That means ads, paid content, paid links, etc are all off-limits. You don't get an email when you're deemed to have violated the agreement between you and Wordpress; it's up to you to contact them. .
it was also a member who answered the question and i am not very sure if it's true. but i got afraid that my blog will be deleted so i instantly deleted the dneero badge.
i am sad about this. what an endeavor..
Sorry to hear about this, Bing. Wordpress does make restrictions on online activities like monetizing your blogs, I remember now (well, as far as the free WP platform is concerned). I think that's why people stick to Blogger since it allows them to have Google Adsense ads on the blog sidebars and all that. Blogger, after all, is owned by Google.
ReplyDeleteI hope something better will come up. Like, say, an online magazine editor discovering your blog and making you a freelance writing offer.
Ay oo nga pala, I forgot to tell you. That's the reason kung bakit ako kumuha ng sarili kong domain.
ReplyDeleteah, yes, those who gets the VIP services; those not free. :-)
ReplyDeletewell, i hope so, jayred. but i do not write as good as you. :-D thank you very much for your concern, appreciate it.
i think it's still a far-fetched option for me, mitch - to get my own domain.
Very interesting info - thanks for the tip :) Good luck too !
ReplyDeleteyou're welcome, bw.
ReplyDeletegood luck ma'am bing. i'm sure your paid posts will be as interesting as your personal ones.
ReplyDeleteactually, sa ganda ng mga entries mo, dapat ng a kumita ka ;) sige lagi kong ikiclick ang ads mo lols.
ReplyDeletebtw lipat bahay ulit ako. eto na ang new link ko.
hi, jayred. thank you very much for choosing me.
ReplyDeleteon reverting to blogspot, i don't know. been to blogspot before. had had problems and still been reading about problems and troubles accessing blogspot. but reading about that accident to your hosted blog scared me. can't afford to loose my entries. they mean a lot to me ha ha (with a bit of a drama here :- D ). kidding aside, my entries are precious memories so i hope that i will not meet an accident like that.
hey ms bing! why not go back to blogger so that you can pursue paid blogging? I did not encounter any problem with blogger, especially the new blogger. even tweaking the html is easy. but you have to rebuild a lot of things, like pr, etc... and most paying dotcoms require at least 90-day old blogs. ok naman siguro traffic sa site mo dito, kaya lang hirap i monetize.
ReplyDeletewell, i miss tweaking the html talaga, lazarus. i am still thinking about it.
ReplyDeletevery interesting, but I don't agree with you
