For those who do not know what organic foods are, here is an excerpt from Wikipedia:

Organic foods are foods that are produced using methods that do not involve modern synthetic inputs such as synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilizers, do not contain genetically modified organisms, and are not processed using irradiation, industrial solvents, or chemical food additives.

That makes me want to eat only organic fruits and vegetables  because there are no added processes or chemicals in them making them safer to eat.  The problem is produce sold in the market today are cheaper because they are produced in volumes unlike the organic ones.

These are some advantages choosing organic fruits and vegetables:*

  1. They taste way better.

  2. They contain 50% more nutrients, minerals and vitamins.

  3. The chances of acquiring diseases like cancer, obesity, alzheimer's, and some birth defects are minimal.

  4. The chemicals will surely cause reaction inside the body.

  5. The energy level in the body is higher when organic food is consumed.
