Would you want a diamond ring for your engagement or wedding day?  I do not blame you.  Who would not want a beautiful diamond ring such as this?

But back to what those lyrics say, what would a diamond ring matter if you really do not feel the love from your beloved?  Material things cannot replace the essential things in life like love and happiness.  I remember my mother-in-law saying, "If I can buy sleep, I'll buy some."  There is just nothing that can truly take the place of the things that we can appreciate in life.  And it is not these material things.
