Long Forgotten Email

Just wanted to share an email from someone. He once made sense.
Once upon a time, there were four people; Their names wereEverybody, Somebody, Nobody and Anybody.

Whenever there was an important job to be done, Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.

When Nobody did it, Everybody got angry because it was Everybody's job.

Everybody thought that Somebody would do it, but Nobody realized that Nobody would do it.

So consequently Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done in the first place.

  1. Right! Let's all be responsible with what's happening to our country now di ba? Masakit man sabihin, we all have responsibilities being citizens of our country. Are we all doing positively what we are expected to do? Mas nakakabigat ng problema ang pagrereklamo lamang at walang initiative sa paglutas ng problema. Let's all do our share, KAYANG KAYA BASTA SAMA SAMA. Di ba Bing? *wink

  2. I could relate to this e-mail. I have seen this situation few days back that made me post "Formula for Disaster".

Fortunately, I was not in that circle.

being just an audience does not exempt us to feel the disappointment with people who does not do anything pero me gana pang magreklamo. minsan pinapanood lang nating pero din natin maiwasan ang hindi maapektuhan.

  10. This blog reminds me of a story an officemate once told me.

A new friend of his got irked when addressed as “Hey you,” at a convenience store, to which his friend replied: “I am not Hey you. I am a guest here in your country doing very important work. I am not just anybody. I am somebody,” his friend protested, giving a litany of his accomplishments to the surprise of the unwitting offender.

The moment won, his friend invited him for coffee in his house. Enjoying themselves in the kitchen table, absorbed in small talk, his friend’s wife entered seemingly upset over something. “What honey,” his friend nervously asked. With a disgusted tone of voice, his friend’s wife replied, as if addressing nobody in particular, “Will Somebody please take out the garbage,” to which his friend in a routine like manner got up and took out the garbage.
