fTigra (f), the matriarch, is getting senile these days. There are times she would be running wild around the house playing with Ursula(d), her grand’kitten’. Ursula (d), confused perhaps, would run bananas,too, then later, when tired, breastfeed from grandma’s breasts. She is not a baby anymore but a feline coming of age. Really confused.
Ursula(d) does not suckle from Karen(e) anymore. You might ask why. Because Karen(e) had given birth last January 1 to three little kittens. The kittens are all healthy. Only one is a male and I call him Dagul(a) while the kids wanted to name him Aslan. One of the females looked like the rest of the gang – with black stripes and a beautiful face and I call her Mayumi (c). The other female kitten looks like Dagul and I wanted to call her Tomasa(b) but the kids (again) wanted Jadis for a name. Inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia, presumably.
The matriarch gets into my nerves sometimes. I don’t know what is up with her. When she gets the chance into Kay’s room (where the kittens are) Tigra(f) would get one of the kittens and bring them to one of the corners or rooms of the house, away from Karen or from Kay’s room. These attempts drive me crazy most of the time.
We tried to transfer the kittens to the kitchen area or the living room area (under the sofa) but Karen(e) would not allow. She is a very caring mother and even though it seems like it hurts when the babies suckle she would still lie down and nurse them.
Papsie want them neutered.

The birds in your neighborhood must be living in constant fear.
ReplyDeletewe had dogs before, snglguy, but it's always a traumatic experience when they die. we had a dog named Spag that became very close to my daughter and got hit by a car. she wasnt able to eat lunch when she came home and cried like somebody died. that day, too, we bought hamsters to replace the dog.

Ang gaganda naman ng mga cats dyan sa inyo Bing. Actually we have a lot of cats in our sorroundings, mostly in our backyards. We use to call them by names but since the old ones had alreday died, we haven't got to name the new ones coming...

'yung isa is named zathura kasi we found her just after watching the movie. sooobrang sweet at bait, sooobrang lambot niya, very soft, smooth and silky ang katawan. kamukha niya sina tigra.:) 'yung pangalawa, we found the next day namn. magkapatid sila actually. we named her jumanji naman. hehehe:) may pagka-war freak. ang ku-cute nila.:)
kaya lang, just yesterday, namatayan kami. si tokubetsu ("special" in japanese). nakakalungkot kasi sobra niyang sweet na pusa. nakita ko na lang siyang walang buhay sa may gutter. siguro nakakain ng nakakalason. it was just so sad.:( pero, happy na din siguro 'yun wherever she is.:)

babypink, stress reliever sila ano. ang lambot kasi. si Tigra lang ang hindi ko mahawakan nang matagal. di rin siya malambing. she's the only one kasi na nadampot namin na malaki na while the rest sa bahay lumaki at pinapalaki kaya di takot or mailap sa tao.
